Word
What we say makes the direction shared, repeatable, and actionable.
Decision
Shared language becomes a specification, a purchase, a policy, or a design constraint.
Thing
Decisions become materials, products, packaging, systems, and waste streams in the physical economy.
How to use this framework
When a production problem looks downstream, trace it back. What assumption shaped the specification? What language made that assumption feel inevitable? What decision locked it into a supply chain? Then work forward again: clean the thought, clarify the word, improve the decision, and make the better thing easier to build.
